Looking for a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where no two days are the same? Discovery Towing is hiring a Tow Truck Operator to join our team!

As part of the Discovery group including Discovery Ford Sales and Discovery Edge Collision & Glass you’ll play an important role helping customers when they need it most.

Responsibilities

- Respond to roadside calls and assist customers in a variety of situations
- Safely load, transport, and recover vehicles in all conditions
- Operate towing equipment including winches, straps, and securing devices
- Perform vehicle recoveries, including overturned vehicles when required
- Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and maintain equipment logs
- Communicate with customers and dispatch in a professional, respectful manner
- Complete daily paperwork including service reports and trip logs

Schedule

This is an on‑call position (24/7 rotation),



with scheduled weeks working at Discovery Ford in between rotations offering variety in your day‑to‑day work.

Qualifications

- Strong work ethic and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid Class 5 or Class 3 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Willingness to obtain air‑brake endorsement (training provided)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screening
