OverviewJob Number: JR105394Job Title: Project Management Lead- Enhance OntarioDepartment: EO ENHANCE Ontario - PMO-Training-MgrJob Category: ProfessionalHospital Location: EO Head OfficeJob Type: Temporary (Fixed Term), Full timeContract Duration: 12 monthsNumber of Positions: 1Minimum - Maximum Hourly Rate: $51.805 - $60.055Hours: DaysEnabling Healthcare Across Networks of Central East (ENHANCE) Ontario (also referred to here as “EO”) is a not-for-profit corporate entity which will provide centralized IT services to its seven (7) member hospitals (Campbellford Memorial Hospital, Haliburton Highlands Health Services, Lakeridge Health, Northumberland Hills Hospital, Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Ross Memorial Hospital, and Scarborough Health Network) to manage and operate a set of shared digital assets. This will enable its 7 member hospitals across 14 sites to deliver high quality and safe patient care using the shared Epic Clinical Information System (“CIS”) to over 1.5 million patients residing in both rural and urban communities located in the Central East region of Ontario.Position Overview:Project Management Lead will lead, coordinate, and support multiple regional projects by providing end-to-end project management responsibilities. The PMs will engage, interact and collaborate with both internal (hospital organizations) and external stakeholders. They will also provide internal support to various Committees and Workgroups within the regional governance, including executive leadership across the hospital organizations.Project Management Leads will report directly to the Senior Director for EO team.ResponsibilitiesDirect and manage all aspects of the project life cycle phases: concept, definition, planning, implementation, and closeout,
using the appropriate project management practices and methodologiesDevelop and maintain project charters and plans to align with defined requirementsLiaise and engage with project stakeholders, including the Regional Operations Team, 7 hospital organizations and varying levels of regional governance, as well as external stakeholdersIdentify and manage risks and issues, escalate when required, and recommend appropriate mitigations and resolutionsDetermine the frequency of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areasConduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elementsProvide support to various Committees and Workgroups within the regional governance, including administrative and project managementWork closely with various Committee and Workgroup Chairs within the regional governance to provide supportLead and support regional procurement initiatives following the Broader Public Service DirectiveRequirementsUniversity degree or combination of equivalent education and work experienceCertification in Project Management3-5 years direct project management experience in a health care setting, including all aspects of process development and executionTechnically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Office, Project and SharePointStrong organizational and multi-tasking skillsWell developed communication skills: oral,
