Task/Duties include:

- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
- Instruct apprentices




- Supervise other workers (1-2 people)
- Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roof

Job Requirements:

- Own transportation with valid driver's license
- Criminal record check
- Tools/equipment - personal tools, steel toed safety footwear, safety glasses, high vis, safety equipment/gear.

Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, judgement, reliability team player, values and ethics.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Day shifts

Work Location: In person

Language requirements: English - intermediate level or higher proficiency.

Education: Other trades certificate, diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5 years or more

Work site setting: At heights, confined spaces, noisy, dusty, outdoors.

Work setting: Various locations across the Bow Valley, commercial, residential.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, physically demanding.
