(Indicative; final salary determinedby experience and market). Your Impact As a Software Test Specialist at Eaton, you will help deliver high‑quality software efficiently to market. You will design and maintain robust testing environments, focus on expanding automation and reducing manual testing, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout Agile ceremonies. What You’ll Do Test Automation Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Python, C#, or PowerShell. Enhance and maintain existing automated tests to support product releases. Investigate and troubleshoot issues found during automated test execution. Agile Collaboration Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies – grooming, sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA peers to define acceptance criteria and ensure testability and maintainability. Test Strategy & Execution Develop and define effective test strategies to ensure comprehensive software quality and coverage. Execute automated and manual tests across web, Windows, and embedded applications. Prepare, configure, and manage test environments for reliable and efficient validation. Run functional,



non‑functional, regression, exploratory, white‑box, grey‑box, and black‑box tests. Generate test reports and provide recommendations on product release readiness. Task & Project Management Plan, estimate, and organize test development activities and deliverables. Track progress and follow up on assigned tasks to ensure timely delivery. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years of experience testing web‑based applications in Agile environments, with robust iterative testing practices. Experience writing code in PowerShell, C#, or Python. Fluency in French and English (working proficiency). Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship. Candidates must live within 80 km of the Brossard facility. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Software, Electrical Engineering or a related field. OIQ membership. Proven expertise in a wide range of testing methodologies, including system, black‑box, grey‑box, white‑box, integration, exploratory, performance, load, and regression testing. Experience with industry standards such as DNP3, IEC 61850, ICCP. Experience with distribution network architecture and electrical principles of transformers, circuit breakers and PLCs.
