Key Responsibilities

- Support and maintain Linux-based infrastructure for engineering workflows
- Manage EDA/CAD environments (installations, upgrades, dependencies)
- Build and operate AWS infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, IAM)
- Administer shared systems: NFS, backups, remote access, user management
- Troubleshoot across OS, storage, networking, and applications
- Partner with engineering teams to resolve performance and usability issues
- Automate tasks using scripting or infrastructure-as-code
- Contribute to documentation and system reliability improvements

Requirements

- Strong Linux administration experience
- Background supporting technical or compute-heavy environments
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Strong troubleshooting across infrastructure layers
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Solid understanding of networking, storage, permissions, and system performance

Nice to Have

- Experience with EDA/CAD tools or semiconductor environments




- Exposure to DevOps / SRE practices
- Experience in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments
