Welders
Employment duties and requirements:
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as:
gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW).
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines.
- Bel-Aire Welding Ltd., currently, has no brake and/or shear but are in the market for future consideration.
- Valid, class 5, driver’s license.
- Journeyman and apprentices are, both, welcome to apply.
- Completion of secondary school is usually required; Bel-Aire Welding Ltd. does, and will, consider candidates with work experience and/or interest in the apprenticeship program.
