Printing Operator – Adaptable Packaging (Richmond, BC)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Printing Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in flexographic or rotogravure printing and is dedicated to producing consistent, high-quality results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain flexographic or rotogravure printing presses according to production schedules.
- Set up jobs, including plate and cylinder installation, ink adjustments, and machine calibration.
- Perform color matching and ensure print accuracy to customer specifications.
- Conduct in-process quality checks, monitor print consistency, and record results.
- Troubleshoot press issues and make necessary mechanical or process adjustments.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and preventive maintenance schedules.




- Collaborate with the production and QC teams to ensure on-time, high-quality output.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of experience operating flexographic or rotogravure printing presses in a flexible packaging or film environment.
- Strong understanding of ink systems, substrates, tension control, and color management.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues independently.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to maintain focus during long production runs.
- Ability to work rotating or fixed shifts as required.
