Join the Regional District of Nanaimo as a temporary part time Elections Office Coordinator, supporting local government elections through effective coordination and documentation tracking.

This position requires a high school diploma and up to one year post-secondary education in administration, along with three years of progressive administrative experience, including election support. You'll work closely with the Manager of Planning and Logistics to prepare election materials, distribute equipment, and guide temporary election workers, all under established election procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support workflow coordination for election processes
• Track documentation and manage election material preparation
• Distribute equipment to various voting locations




• Guide temporary election workers on procedures
• Ensure compliance with local government election regulations

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary courses preferred
• Minimum three years of relevant administrative experience
• Knowledge of local government election practices
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License required
