Manufacturing Machine Operator / Technician

South Surrey, BC | Full-Time, Monday–Friday 6am – 2:30pm

TAG Hardware is looking for a Manufacturing Machine Operator / Technician to join our growing production team. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing or machine operating experience who enjoys hands-on work, has strong mechanical aptitude, and is looking to continue building their technical skills.

Reporting to the Manufacturing & Plant Manager, you'll operate a variety of manufacturing equipment while learning more advanced machine setup, troubleshooting, and production processes.

Compensation: $23.75-$26.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications

What You’ll Do

- Set up, operate, and monitor a variety of manufacturing equipment.
- Operate cutting saws, grinders, profile wrappers, slitting equipment, and other production machinery.
- Perform machine adjustments and assist with troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Follow daily production schedules and standard operating procedures
- Inspect, package, and move finished goods
- Maintain quality standards and escalate issues as needed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and secure (5S)
- Support inventory counts and material flow across production




- Contribute to continuous improvement and team success

What You Bring

- Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools/equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Basic math and reading skills (work orders, labels, procedures)

- A dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude
