Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and support the kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals. This role is essential in maintaining productive kitchen operations and providing excellent food service to our guests.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs and kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and kitchen areas
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety regulations
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes when necessary




- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health department standards
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Experience

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
