We are a well-established Civil Enforcement Agency in Western Canada looking for a bailiff in the Lower Mainland area.
Bailiff’s work for Civil Enforcement Agencies to execute Civil Court Orders issued from the Federal Court, Provincial Supreme Court and Small Claims Court. The individual must be able to provide excellent customer service, self-driven, enjoy challenges, be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to use his/her own initiative and manage time effectively.
The applicant must have an enthusiastic common-sense approach to their bailiff work, while being qualified and firm in his/her duties including:
- Locate debtor through various search methods.
- Secure assets, serve debtor and collect on debt.
- Complete all required documentation on scene.
- Regular communication with clients and debtors.
- Organize files to ensure maximum execution efficiency.
- Deliver completed files to CCE office for disbursement.
- Coordinate appropriate services required for equipment removal.
- Log seizures, evictions and foreclosures.
The individual must have:
- No criminal record, Police background check will be required
- Have your own vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license
- Complete and pass an approved conflict management course (this can be completed during the training period)
- Be able to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings when required
- Basic computer skills
