Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour plus applicable overtime.

We are currently seeking qualified and motivated Medics to join our team in a casual on-call capacity, supporting our commitment to safety and providing immediate medical care to employees and clients.
Job Summary:
As a Medic Driver at Gitxsan Safety Services, you will play a vital role in providing prompt and productive medical assistance and first aid response to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at various work sites and events. This position requires Medic Drivers to possess a valid OFA1 Certificate with Transportation Endorsement (TE), S-100/185 certifications, a valid Class 5 Driving License. The role is on a casual on-call basis,
where you will be contacted to report to work as the need arise.
Responsibilities
- Transportation of Medic and patients to and from tertiary medical clinics and hospitals
- Record detailed and accurate medical incident reports, including treatment provided and patient information.
- Maintain and restock medical supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for any emergency.
- Obey all traffic laws and site specific rules and regulations
- Collaborate with other safety personnel and staff to enhance overall safety and medical response effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support in implementing safety measures and protocols at work sites and events.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members to keep them informed about incidents and medical requirements.
