Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Electromechanical Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems, with experience in industrial maintenance, automation, and equipment calibration. As an integral part of our technical team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our production processes, ensuring reliability and efficiency across all machinery and systems.
Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, pumps, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, control diagrams, and analysis skills to identify root causes.
- Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate manufacturing processes.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on low voltage electrical systems in compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Support welding activities and mechanical repairs related to machinery or structural components.
- Assist with boiler operation, HVAC system maintenance, and other facility-related mechanical tasks.
- Interpret technical schematics and manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a secure working setting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or electromechanical technician within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, schematics, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management.
- Practical knowledge of HVAC systems, welding techniques, boilers, and low voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals accurately.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex electromechanical issues efficiently.
- Effective communication skills in English for documentation and teamwork purposes.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with internal teams or external vendors.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
