In this position, you will work closely with the Director of Legal & Compliance to handle legal, compliance, and governance matters. Your independent assessment capabilities and recommendations will guide policies and procedures that impact the financial system.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal analysis and counsel on compliance matters
• Support regulatory and governance activities within OBSI




• Draft legal and regulatory correspondence with precision
• Assess significant legal, risk, and policy issues proactively
• Collaborate on policy development and procedural improvements

Requirements:
• Licensed to practice law in Ontario
• Experience in legal and compliance analysis
• Robust drafting and communication skills
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset
• Residing in the Greater Toronto Area preferred
