Greenhouse Worker

We're looking for dependable people who aren't afraid of hard work. This position involves working in and around our greenhouses, assisting with crop production, greenhouse maintenance, greenhouse covering, and helping during the heating season to maintain proper growing conditions.

This is a physically demanding job that requires working in a variety of weather conditions throughout the year

What the Job Really Involves

- Working on your feet for most or all of the day
- Repetitive tasks that require attention to detail
- Planting, spacing, pruning, watering, harvesting, and general crop care
- Lifting trays, baskets, planters, and other materials throughout the shift
- Working in warm, humid conditions, especially during the summer months
- Working in cold conditions during the winter months
- Assisting with greenhouse maintenance and seasonal greenhouse covering




- Helping monitor and maintain growing conditions during the heating season
- Meeting production and quality expectations
- Following safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to get the job done
- Working overtime, weekends, and holidays during peak planting, packing, and shipping seasons
- Shift work during the heating season may also be required

What We Need

- Ability to work efficiently without constant supervision
- Ability to perform physical work safely
- Willingness to learn
- Previous greenhouse, farm, or production experience is an asset but not required

Job Types: Full time, Contract

Pay: $17.15 per hour
