Position Summary
Responsible for project accounting and financial analysis for the Homes and Homes Package business, from job setup through month-end close. The role combines core project accounting — job costing, invoicing, AR/AP, reconciliations — with forecasting, margin analysis, and profitability reporting to support decision-making across Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, and Corporate Finance.
Coordination of project approvals, manufacturing, and delivery updates is an essential and significant part of the role which requires day-to-day input and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Project Accounting & Operations
· Set up recent jobs, maintain job costing, and ensure project documentation is complete.
· Coordinate project approvals, manufacturing, deliveries, and operational updates.
· Prepare customer and dealer invoices, process payments, and support Accounts Receivable activities.
· Process and code Accounts Payable invoices, including outside vendor invoices.
· Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure completed deliveries are invoiced on time.
· Maintain month-end schedules for invoicing, warranties, commissions, and job costing.
· Reconcile BisTrack and General Ledger information, including sales, cost of sales, inventory, and project costs.
· Prepare month-end reconciliations and support the monthly financial close process.
· Prepare documentation for U.S.
shipments and ensure compliance with cross-border requirements.
· Investigate discrepancies, resolve operational issues, and recommend process improvements.
Financial Analysis & Reporting
· Develop and maintain margin and profitability analysis of Homes Packages by project, dealer, and product line.
· Support monthly and quarterly forecasting and budgeting for Homes and Homes Package revenue, cost of sales, and gross margin.
· Identify and report on cost, pricing, and margin trends; flag variances and risks to the GM and Corporate Finance.
Qualifications
· Experience in project accounting, job costing, A/R, A/P, and month-end close.
· Experience with financial modeling, variance analysis, or business/operational partnering strongly preferred.
· Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (BisTrack/Epicor preferred).
· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; comfortable presenting findings to non-finance stakeholders.
