SewerVUE Technology Corp. is a growing, innovative technology company specializing in advanced condition assessment of critical pipeline infrastructure. We use robotic systems equipped with CCTV, LiDAR, sonar, and pipe-penetrating radar (PPR) to provide detailed inspection data that helps municipalities and engineering firms manage and maintain water and wastewater systems.
As a Robotics Operations Technician, you'll work across hardware, software, and logistics. You'll support the deployment and upkeep of robotic inspection systems, validate sensor and software performance, process and document inspection data, and help deliver professional reports to clients. This role is essential to ensuring our robotic inspection platforms and data deliverables meet the quality and accuracy needs of cities around the world.
This role will require you to:
Perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and cleaning of robotic systems and sensor payloads, including mechanical components and metal body work
Conduct soldering, electronics troubleshooting, wiring, cable spooling, and circuit board care
Assist in diagnosing hardware issues and executing corrective maintenance
Conduct comprehensive operational testing of robot control software and sensor data acquisition workflows prior to shipping
Oversee shipping and receiving of robotic systems and control equipment, and document ROV status upon return and export.
Process inspection data and help compile high-quality technical reports for clients
Use LaTeX for professional report creation
Track client deliverables and ensure timely delivery of reports and invoices
Respond to and fulfill client requests for data and documentation
Write and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance, testing, and reporting
Record and update internal workflows and test results
Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on experience with robotics systems and hardware maintenance
Practical knowledge of LiDAR, sonar, CCTV, and other inspection sensors
Experience with electronics repair, soldering, and cable management
Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely
Experience with LaTeX for technical reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Scripting or programming experience (Python, C#)
Understanding of PACP/NASSCO coding standards
Experience with data processing workflows and inspection technologies
Experience supporting field inspections for water/wastewater infrastructure
Experience or understanding of pipeline civil infrastructure
