Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data pipelines for transforming and loading data into analytics and integration systems
Support the enhancement of data processing performance under guidance from senior engineers
Monitor, investigate, and resolve issues related to data pipelines and transformations
Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Apply security best practices when designing and implementing data solutions
Troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes
Follow established development standards to deliver high-quality solutions
Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation
Collaborate with senior team members to learn and apply modern data engineering techniques
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

Experience & Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
Experience building or maintaining data pipelines
Understanding of data architecture concepts (e.g., lakehouse)
Basic proficiency in Python; familiarity with PySpark is strongly preferred
Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
Experience working with Azure Data Lake and Blob Storage




Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Awareness of data security standards (e.g., PCI, GDPR, ISO) preferred
Interest in travel-related data; prior exposure is an asset

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $75,000 - $82,250. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
