CN is seeking a Car Mechanic Apprentice to inspect, maintain, build and repair railway freight cars in compliance with Federal and CN regulations. The successful candidate will advance to Journey Car Mechanic as they gain experience.
The role involves inspecting and repairing components such as compressors, air valves, bearings and piping, using hand and power tools, welding equipment and measuring instruments. Paid training and a structured apprenticeship are provided.
