Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for aBusiness Analyst - Banking. The position involves supporting B2B banking and credit technology projects, working on a collaborative team to elicit and analyze requirements, develop project documentation, and drive business value through innovative solutions.
Pay rate range (CAD): $62.07/hr – $74.49/hr
Responsibilities
Elicit requirements and analyze feasibility to ensure solutions meet business outcomes
Support project teams across the project lifecycle to align development with business needs
Develop and maintain project documents and artifacts for multiple stakeholders
Apply domain expertise to drive business value and recommend solutions
Break down complex problems, analyze data, and provide insights and recommendations
Build test cases to validate business requirements and end-user testing results
Focus primarily on the business/group within the organization, with possible enterprise-wide involvement
Exercise judgment in diagnosing and solving problems within set guidelines
Work independently on complex and unique tasks
Ability to handle broader responsibilities as assigned
Desired Skill-Set
4 to 6 years of relevant experience with a related post-secondary degree or equivalent
Foundational proficiency in Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies




Strong data analysis skills and process improvement knowledge
Experience in business requirements definition and analysis
Ability to develop insights and reports
Functional application design and analysis skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Collaboration and team-oriented mindset
Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Data-driven decision making
Technical proficiency through education and/or experience
Digital fluency and systems thinking
Nice to Have
Understanding of technical language related to architecture, data analysis, and data flows
Prior experience in the financial or banking industry
