Overview Our Regina Components team is looking for a qualified technician (heavy equipment, agriculture, truck and transport, automotive or apprentice) to clean, rebuild and inspect components.
Wage and Benefits Wage: $42.62 - $51.57 - Additional Continuous Shift Premium: $3.50
Bonus Target: 4%
Paid Time Off in Year 1: Vacation, sick and 7 days flex time
5.75% Employer paid pension, plus up to 1% additional
6% voluntary Employee Share Purchase, earns 2% Finning match

CAT certified training: Additional certifications and skill development paid for by Finning
Job Description Troubleshoot and repair equipment
Component rebuild
Condition reporting
Verifying components due to CAT reusability guidelines
Clean and inspection of components
Operation bench testing piecesOperation of engine dynos
Interface with customers, product, and sales support
Working with supervisors on various tasks
Equipment and facility continuous improvements
Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
Various related duties as required
Qualifications Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician Certification (Automotive, Truck and Transport or Agriculture certification may be considered)
Apprentices will be considered based on experience
Dedication to safety
Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of the Caterpillar product line will be considered an asset




Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
Experience with SIS (Service Information System), ET and warranty systems considered assets
Key Details This position is located at our Regina (S00) branch
7x7 continuous shift
Position is for the components team
A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
