Job Description
You will be part of the Quality team, and your role as a Quality Coordinator (Evening Shift) will be to:
- Demonstrate leadership in accordance with the company's vision and values.
- Work effectively under pressure and motivate your team to meet strict deadlines.
- Manage your team's performance using KPIs.
- Oversee the workload and individual performance of unionized employees.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying problem-solving processes.
- Coach and develop a team of 15–25 employees to help them grow within the organization.
- Identify, document,
and standardize key processes to achieve operational objectives.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization.
Your Profile
As the ideal candidate:
- You have management experience in a unionized manufacturing environment (experience in a quality department is an asset), ideally within the aerospace industry.
- You possess excellent leadership and people management skills.
- You demonstrate leadership, sound judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- You are results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, comfortable working under pressure, and have a strong sense of urgency.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You have a solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
- You are fluent in both French and English.
