Job Summary

Join our energetic team as a Cashier/Barista, where you will be the friendly face and efficient operator behind our café counter. Duties

- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items with precision and care.
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
- Follow food safety protocols during food handling, preparation, and serving to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a positive experience for all guests.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Barista or in a food service environment; coffee experience is preferred.




- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic, and professional attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction processing, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Schedule & Availability

- Flexible availability is required.
- Candidates must be available to work opening, daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Opening shifts may begin as early as 5:30 AM.
- Closing shifts may end as late as 10:30 PM.
- Applicants must be comfortable working both early morning and late evening shifts as required.
- Reliable transportation is strongly preferred for opening and closing shifts.
