Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Program Supervisor/Recreation professional to lead and coordinate engaging recreational activities for our residents. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive setting. The ideal candidate will bring strong supervisory skills, program management expertise, and experience in administrative tasks to ensure the success of our recreational programs.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and oversee diverse recreational programs tailored to residents’ interests and needs.
- Supervise recreation staff and volunteers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
- Coordinate scheduling of activities and events, ensuring smooth operation and maximum participation.




- Maintain accurate records of program participation, resident feedback, and activity outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate recreational activities into overall care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility policies during all recreational activities.

Skills

- Proven experience in supervising staff or volunteers within a recreational or community program setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
- Excellent administrative skills including record keeping, reporting, and budgeting.
- Ability to develop engaging programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and mental stimulation for seniors.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with residents, families, staff, and community partners.
- Knowledge of program management principles and best practices in recreation or senior care environments.

Pay: $31.00-$34.00 per hour
