Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision and artistry, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including maintaining efficient workflow
- Ensure all food handling and preparation comply with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory and maintain cleanliness of the sushi station
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings
- Serve dishes in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality presentation and taste
- Uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence in food quality and customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Expertise in Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi preparation techniques
- Excellent organizational skills for managing inventory and maintaining cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while ensuring attention to detail
- Robust communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
- Knowledge of restaurant management principles is a plus

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
