Job Summary

Join our team as an AZ Truck Driver and work with them to transport raw materials into and finished goods out of our rural agricultural industry related plant. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty trucks equipped to handle a variety of cargo, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be in the trucking industry while home every night and with your weekends off.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate AZ-class trucks to transport freight within 160 km of our base while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, delivery logs, and vehicle inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, freight handling, and driving procedures

Experience

- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial trucking
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations in the transportation industry
