Software Safety Engineer Brampton, ON | Hybrid
We're seeking a Software Safety Engineer to join a high-performing Safety & Mission Assurance team, helping deliver innovative, safety-critical technologies in a complex engineering environment.
What You'll Do
Conduct software safety, hazard, and criticality analyses.
Develop and manage software safety requirements.
Partner with systems, software, and design teams to integrate safety into product development.
Review safety-critical software documentation and source code.
Prepare safety reports, support reviews, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
5+ years of software safety experience in a safety-critical environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Eligible to obtain Reliability Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
