This vacancy is a full-time, permanent prospect. The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning is responsible for supporting end-to-end planning processes that connect customer demand, supply capabilities, and business objectives to deliver service excellence and operational efficiency. This role oversees supplier and customer collaboration, demand forecasting, S&OP governance, inventory management, and portfolio optimization. The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic planning capabilities, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring both The Beer Store (TBS) & Brewers Distributor Ltd. (BDL) networks operate with agility, accuracy, and cross-functional alignment.LocationOur Corporate Office is located in Bolton, ON. We offer a hybrid work model with visits into the office a minimum of three times per week and on an as-needed basis depending on the role and function.What You’ll Be DoingLead end-to-end S&OP strategy integrating demand, supply, and financial plans to achieve service, inventory, and cost objectivesDrive cross-functional alignment with Finance, Retail, and Legal to enable optimal inventory principles and integrated decision-makingProvide executive-level visibility of risks, opportunities,



and trade-offs through advanced analytics and scenario planningTranslate complex data into actionable insights and influence stakeholders to support profitable, customer-focused outcomesStrengthen planning governance and performance measures to ensure disciplined execution and informed leadership decisionsDefine and maintain inventory policies balancing service levels, working capital, and operational efficiencyOptimize inventory health and portfolio mix using advanced planning tools (SAP, Power BI, Excel) to prevent excess and obsolescenceLead SKU rationalization and portfolio simplification initiatives to reduce complexity and improve throughputFoster collaborative planning with customers and suppliers to improve forecast accuracy, service reliability, and cost efficiencyDevelop and manage performance KPIs for customer service, delivery, and inventory reliability; proactively address gapsBuild and lead a high-performing team that drives innovation, continuous improvement, and exceeds stakeholder expectationsPerform other related duties and projects as assignedWho You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fieldPost-graduate in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferredExperience10+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning, including demand forecasting, S&OP, and inventory managementMinimum 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity, focused on guiding, mentoring, and developing high-performing teamsEstablished ability to align and influence across senior leadership groups both internally and externallyDemonstrated experience developing and leading S&OP and IBP processes in a complex, multi-site environmentExperience working closely with suppliers and customers to balance demand and supply requirementsProven success implementing planning tools, such as portfolio and inventory policy as well as ongoing governance, analytics, and process automationSkillsStrong understanding of supply chain planning, logistics,



and inventory managementEffective leadership excellence combined with exceptional interpersonal skillsStrategic and operational planning expertiseStrong stakeholder influence and communication skillsAdvanced analytical skills; data-driven decision makingProficiency in forecasting and planning tools (SAP, Power BI, Excel, etc.)Deep understanding of inventory management principles and service-cost trade-offsStrong business acumen with the ability to link operational metrics to financial performanceContinuous improvement mindset with change management capabilityCompensationThe hiring range for this position is $107,000-$133,700 CAD per year.
