Job Description

We are seeking ideal candidates who have experience in powder coating and have a strong understanding of coating techniques and equipment.

Job Duties

- Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate materials and equipment.
- Assembly for powder coating process, operating spray gun, loading metal pieces onto paint-line hooks, unloading metal pieces after painting, and general shop cleaning.
- Perform chemical balancing to ensure proper mixtures for powder coating.
- Conduct routine maintenance on powder coating equipment and tools.
- Complete verification paperwork accurately and in a timely manner




- Practice good housekeeping and safety procedures and adhere to all company policies.

Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience as a powder coat painter.
- Proficiency in powder coating techniques and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and coating operations.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a related field is a plus.
- Physically fit: frequently lift up to 50 lbs., must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb.

- Lifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, and climb.
- Vision: Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items.

Mental Demands

- Interpret, analyze, research, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust, and fumes.
