About the Role The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Division of Supportive and Palliative Care and will support the head of department in managing all administrative staff within the department.
This role combines high-level administrative coordination with team leadership responsibilities, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across clinical, education, quality improvement, innovation, and research domains.
The Division of Supportive and Palliative Care (DSPC) exists as part of the bigger NCCS family. Our mission is two-fold, first to ensure that all patients live meaningful and valuable lives even till the end-of-life, second to advocate for the growth and awareness of palliative care in Singapore, the region, and internationally.
Some of the Key Responsibilities Include Support Head of Department in managing the administrative team, ensuring appropriate workload distribution, that key responsibilities are covered and staff training and welfare is supported.




Manage specific programmes/projects within the department, including stakeholder engagement, analysis of outcomes, and preparation of presentation materials for meetings and funders
Provide departmental level service, innovation and quality improvement support through data collation, statistical analysis, and preparation of regular reports on clinical indicators
Respond to internal and external requests for department statistics, presentations and reports, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of required data
Assist in departmental workplan and budgeting exercises
Organize meetings across service, education, quality, innovation and research domains, including preparation of materials, minute-taking, and follow-up coordination
Job Requirements University degree with 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience
Excellent secretarial and administrative skills
Strong interpersonal skills within department interactions and external liaising with various departments, government bodies, and private institutions
Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools like Tableau
Ability to work independently with initiative and creativity while functioning effectively as part of a team
Experience in health care, programme management and team supervision would be advantageous
