Magna Mining Inc. is a Sudbury-focused, base metal exploration and development company.

The path to the creation of a significant new battery metals producing Canadian company is to execute a long term, multi-faceted growth strategy.
Job Description We are currently seeking experienced Specialist, Metals Accountability to join our team at Levack Mine!
The Specialist, Metals Accountability is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reconciliation of ore inventories, shipments, grades and commercial settlements from the point of crushing through to final settlement with Magna Mining’s customers.

Responsibilities Lead the reconciliation of ore production, inventories, shipments, customer receipts, and payable metal from crusher production through final settlement.
Maintain accurate ore accountability records and investigate discrepancies across production, haulage, inventory, sampling, shipping, and settlement data.




Develop and maintain mass balance reconciliations and standardized procedures to ensure the integrity of production and commercial reporting.
Coordinate assay exchange programs and reconcile company, customer, and umpire assay results, resolving discrepancies and maintaining final assay data.
Review customer settlement statements, reconcile provisional and final payable metal calculations, and support Finance with month-end and year-end reporting.
Reconcile haulage contractor records with production, dispatch, and customer receipt data while monitoring transportation performance.
Develop and enhance business intelligence dashboards and reporting to provide a centralized source of production and commercial information.
Collect, validate, and analyze production, grade, shipment, and commercial data to support operational and business decision-making.
Maintain documentation supporting audits, regulatory compliance, and commercial reviews.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve ore tracking, metals accounting, reporting accuracy, systems, and business processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements Qualifications: Formal Education, Certifications or Equivalents
Post secondary education in Mining Engineering, Geological Engineering, Mineral Processing, Geology, Commerce, Accounting, Engineering Technology,



or a related discipline.
2 or more years of experience in mining operations, production reporting, ore accountability, logistics, commercial settlements, or metals accounting.
Understanding of mining operations and ore handling processes.
Knowledge of ore accountability and mass balance principles.
Understanding of commercial concentrate or ore sales agreements.
Familiarity with assay exchange processes and sampling methodologies.
Experience reconciling production, shipment, and settlement data.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is an asset.
Experience with ERP systems, dispatch systems, and laboratory information systems is considered an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with commercial contracts and payable metal calculations is an asset.
