The Shift Lead at Kids Kottage is responsible for ensuring high standards of care for children aged 0-10. This full-time position includes a rotating schedule with both evening and day shifts, requiring participation in the on-call rotation. You will implement child development strategies, plan engaging activities, and support team leaders while overseeing day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop weekly activity plans aligned with child development principles
• Lead on-floor operations, addressing immediate issues
• Supervise children during meals, playtime,



and nap routines
• Delegate tasks to maintain secure staffing ratios
• Communicate shift updates and incidents effectively

Requirements:
• Certificate in Early Learning & Child Care or related field
• 1-2 years' experience in licensed childcare or youth programs
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Clear background checks as per policy
• Current First Aid Level C certification
