PURPOSE
Prepare in-season Allocation and Trading for the Concept Store and Factory Outlet channels. Actively contribute to the initial allocations and in-season replenishments, quickly and effectively implementing the allocation strategy to react to fast changing market environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the allocation process for a specific division to distribute inventory to Concept Stores and Factory Outlet stores for all seasonal and core product
Leads 4+ allocators through clear goal setting and supports in resolving exceptions to meet their responsibilities
Establish strong relationships cross functionally to resolve allocation exceptions that are escalated due to sales performance or supply changes
Owns analysis of inventory opportunities and recommending actions to optimize inventory throughout the product life cycle
Drives consistent communication with key stakeholders around allocation strategies and results inclusive of risk and opportunity
Assist with driving improvements in allocation process to leverage new tools and enhancements.
Ensures that new store openings run accordingly to the business timelines set out by the Operations team and that allocations are planned effectively between Merchandising and Allocation teams.
Manage healthy store capacity levels and SKU counts through strategic allocations to deliver profitable sell through
Lead allocations to transition seasonal product in Concept Stores and Factory Outlets by ensuring minimal levels of aged inventory in store and in DC
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT Create a supportive work environment in which employees are coached, trained and provided with career opportunities through development.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Relevant job experience in an Allocation & Trading function
Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment that requires continual multi-tasking, prioritization and the ability to pivot
Ability to build and manage a team.
Strategic and adaptive approach to building new processes and bringing forth change
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in order to effectively communicate to all stakeholders
Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Office with an intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel
Experience with SAP and Power BI.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of Allocation, Planning or Inventory Management experience

At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday. The is a remote role.
The anticipated low and high end of the base pay range for this position is $85,000-$93,000.
Actual salary will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, proficiency for the role.
