Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures
- Assist in menu planning and development as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared to meet dietary restrictions and preferences
- Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring quality service and presentation




- Support the dietary department by providing assistance to dietary aides when necessary

Requirements

- Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and fine dining service
- Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus
- Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting
- A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering exceptional food quality
