Our client is a naturally focused and sustainably operated beef farm built on a passion for providing customers with the highest quality, naturally raised beef. Position Summary This position plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of a progressive cattle and calf farming operation. This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who has a genuine passion for working with livestock and takes pride in doing the job right. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn in a supportive and growing farm environment.

Key Responsibilities

Livestock Care & Handling

- Assist with daily feeding, watering, and monitoring of cattle and calves
- Support the Farm Manager with health checks, identifying any signs of illness or injury and reporting concerns promptly
- Assist with calving, weaning, vaccinations, and general herd handling as directed
- Maintain clean and safe livestock handling areas and ensure animal welfare standards are upheld at all times

Feed & Supplies

- Assist with feed preparation, distribution, and monitoring of feed and water inventory
- Help maintain accurate feed records and flag any supply shortages to the Farm Manager
- Assist with unloading and storing hay, feed, bedding, and farm supplies as needed

Farm Operations & Property Maintenance

- Operate tractors, loaders, skid steers,



and other farm equipment safely and as directed (training required)
- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs to fencing, buildings, watering systems, and farm infrastructure
- Support pasture management activities including rotational grazing, manure spreading, and seasonal property upkeep
- Perform general farm cleanup and maintenance to keep the property in good working order

Team & Safety

- Work collaboratively with the Farm Manager and fellow team members to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, livestock handling practices, and safe equipment operation guidelines
- Maintain a positive, hardworking attitude and contribute to a productive team environment

What We Are Looking For

- Previous experience working on a beef cattle, cow-calf, or livestock farm is preferred
- Comfortable and confident working around cattle and large animals
- Ability to operate basic farm equipment and machinery
- Physically capable of performing intensive manual labour, lifting up to 75 lbs, and working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and a strong team player
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the Farm Manager
- Strong work ethic and a genuine passion for agriculture and farm life
