Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children. This role involves fostering developmental growth, ensuring safety, and supporting children's emotional and social needs through caring and educational activities.

Duties

- Supervise and monitor children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
- Assist children with daily routines such as dressing, hygiene, and feeding as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom workplace, including sanitizing toys and surfaces regularly.
- Foster positive relationships with children to promote emotional well-being and social skills.




- Collaborate with team members and ensure the smooth operation of the daycare.

Requirements

- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or caregiving preferred.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the individual needs of each child.
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young learners.
- Relevant certifications in caregiving or early childhood education are a plus but not mandatory. (AEC, DEC, BAC)
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining high standards of care for children.
- First Aid and Police verification a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $20.71-$33.59 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
