Responsibilities

As a French Classroom Assistant, you will:

- Support the classroom teacher in delivering daily activities in French.
- Assist children with classroom work and encourage independence.
- Help supervise and manage the classroom throughout the day.
- Assist children with toileting and personal care while maintaining their dignity and respecting school procedures.
- Prepare and maintain Montessori classroom materials.
- Clean and organize classroom shelves and learning materials daily.
- Ensure the classroom remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Support snack, lunch, transitions, outdoor play, and daily routines.
- Foster a positive, caring, and respectful environment for every child.

Qualifications





We're looking for someone who:

- Is fluent in French (spoken is essential; written French is an asset).
- Enjoys working with young children.
- Is patient, nurturing, dependable, and organized.
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean and orderly classroom.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Has previous experience working with children (preferred but not required).
- Has or is willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check and First Aid/CPR certification (if required).
