Overview We are a fast-growing flooring supplier working with major retail partners across Canada. We are looking for a Business Operations Coordinator to help turn strategy into execution.
This role sits at the center of the business — supporting leadership across sales, supply chain, and operations — ensuring key initiatives move forward with structure, speed, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities Project Management, Execution & Coordination Translate meetings into clear action plans, timelines, and deliverables
Own and manage multiple projects from initiation through completion
Define priorities, track milestones, and ensure deadlines are met
Coordinate across sales, operations, and supply chain to keep initiatives on track
Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies, and drive resolution
Business Support & Analysis Support pricing decisions through cost, margin, and competitive analysis
Build and maintain margin models across SKUs, customers, and programs
Assist in forecasting and demand planning using sales and inventory data
Develop and maintain Excel-based trackers and dashboards (sales, margins, inventory, projects)
Analyze customer and program profitability, identifying risks and opportunities
Support quotes and business cases with clear, structured analysis
Translate data into actionable insights to support decision-making
Commercial & Customer Coordination Support preparation of quotes, pricing files, product sheets, and presentations
Ensure alignment between sales commitments and internal execution (inventory, timelines, pricing)
Assist to coordinate resolution of customer issues (returns, claims, replacements) across teams
Track open items and ensure timely follow-up and resolution
Process,
Reporting & Ownership Maintain accurate and up-to-date trackers, documentation, and reporting
Provide structured updates to leadership on progress, risks, and priorities
Communicate clearly and professionally across teams and stakeholders
Take ownership of deliverables with a strong “no surprises” approach
What We’re Looking For 2–5 years’ experience in operations, project management, or business coordination
Strong business sense — able to understand priorities and make sound judgments
Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Familiar with project management software, ERP systems, Sage system.
Strong MS Suite (PPT) & Excel skills (formulas, lookups, pivot tables; basic modeling an asset)
Excellent bilingual in French and English and Clear communicator with the ability to work across functions
Solid Asset Comfortable working with data — able to move from raw numbers to actionable insights
Ability to connect operational data (sales, inventory, costs) to business decisions
Proactive, resourceful, and able to move initiatives forward with limited direction
