Full Stack Software Engineer
Levanta Labs is the data engineering, software development, and AI partner for high-growth B2B companies & SaaS startups. We design, build, and scale custom software platforms, internal systems, and AI solutions that drive measurable operational and financial impact.

You'll be the engineer who owns features end-to-end, from database schemas up through the pixels on screen. At Levanta Labs, our full-stack engineers move fluidly across the stack and ship complete, production-grade products without waiting on handoffs. You'll work closely with designers, backend and frontend specialists, product stakeholders, and founders from the earliest stages of a project, helping shape how systems are architected and how they feel to use. From complex data tables and real-time interfaces, to APIs and data pipelines, to AI-powered features that land in the real world, the engineering problems here excite us every single day.

The products you'll build are high-traffic, daily-use platforms that power users and entire teams live in for hours. Because we work across a wide range of industries and clients, you'll have the rare chance to leave your fingerprints on how we build things across every project we take on. We’re looking for engineers who can ship polished UI to a designer's standard, architect reliable backend services, and take real pride in every feature they ship.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack applications end-to-end, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and APIs

Translate Figma designs into high-fidelity React implementations and ensure UI/UX consistency across pages and components

Design, build, and maintain backend services, production APIs, and core platform infrastructure

Design database schemas and data models that support high performance and scale cleanly as usage grows

Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines (AWS preferred)

Structure code into clean, reusable components, hooks, modules, and patterns that other engineers can easily work with

Collaborate closely with designers, other engineers, product stakeholders, and leadership to translate business needs into technical execution

Participate in all stages of product development:

design review, system design, implementation, debugging, testing, and launch

Contribute to technical documentation, API specifications, and engineering best practices

Optimize application performance and scalability across the stack

Own the stability and quality of the features and systems you build: design → build → deploy → iterate

What You Offer (Requirements)

2+ years of full-stack engineering experience

Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript

Solid foundation in HTML and CSS, with the ability to implement designs from Figma with high fidelity

Experience building and maintaining production APIs and backend services (Node.js or similar)

Experience designing database schemas and working with relational and/or document databases

Experience architecting, building, and maintaining SaaS platform backends

Comfort with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)

An eye for detail and commitment to quality - you notice when spacing is off or interactions feel wrong, and you care about what happens under the hood too

Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

Nice to Have

Experience with Next.js, Astro, or other React frameworks

Familiarity with Tailwind CSS

Experience with React Query or similar data-fetching libraries

Exposure to server-side rendering or static site generation

Experience with Python, and exposure to the AI/LLM ecosystem (agent frameworks, vector databases, retrieval pipelines)

Experience with GraphQL

React Native or mobile development experience (Swift)

CS degree or equivalent practical experience

Tech Stack
React.js, Next.js, Astro, TypeScript, React Query, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Express.js, Python, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS

What Success Looks Like

You consistently ship complete features end-to-end - polished UI, reliable backend,

and clean integration between them

UIs you deliver match design specs with high fidelity (pixel-perfect or close to it)

APIs and services you build run cleanly in production with strong observability, low incident frequency, and fast resolution when issues arise

Your code is clean, well-structured, and easy for other engineers to maintain and extend

Features you ship are functional, polished, and require minimal QA cycles

You deliver high-quality work effectively, balancing speed with sound architecture and pragmatic tradeoffs

You proactively flag design ambiguities, bottlenecks, edge cases, and risks before they become blockers

You collaborate smoothly across engineering and with stakeholders to ship complete features on time

What We Offer

Fully remote role (Canada, core hours 9am-6pm EST)

Work on a variety of interesting projects across industries

Mentorship from experienced engineers

Exposure to diverse problem spaces and client challenges

Professional development resources

Performance bonuses tied to project outcomes

Clear growth path with increasing ownership and responsibility, including into Technical Lead roles

Gym membership stipend

Flexible paid time off

Direct collaboration with founders and a world-class technical team
