Grande Prairie Physiotherapy & Massage is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Registered Physiotherapist for our Grande Prairie, AB location.

Position Responsibilities

- Assess patients’ physical abilities using standardized evaluative procedures such as functional ability tests.
- Establish treatment goals with patients based on physical assessments and diagnoses.
- Plan and deliver physiotherapy programs including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, manipulations, massage, patient education, electrotherapy modalities, mechanical equipment use, and hydrotherapy.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as needed.
- Provide patients with exercise programs and strategies to enhance or maintain treatment outcomes at home.
- Communicate with referring physicians and other health care professionals regarding patient progress, needs, and concerns.
- Maintain accurate clinical and statistical records; collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Develop and implement health promotion initiatives for patients, staff, and the community.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) from a Canadian university

OR an equivalent international degree assessed as comparable by the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR).

- Eligible for registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Language of work: English.
