THE FORAGER is seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our growing culinary team at Cliffs Edge Retreat. Both the restaurant and retreat operate year-round, providing stable, full-time employment in a supportive professional kitchen with the potential for greater work-life balance.

Overlooking the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve and located beside the East Coast Trail, THE FORAGER serves Newfoundland-inspired cuisine featuring fresh local seafood, seasonal ingredients and wild-foraged products.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Prepare and execute menu items efficiently and consistently
- Set up and maintain an organized kitchen station
- Work closely with the Chef and kitchen team during service
- Maintain quality, portioning and presentation standards
- Complete daily food preparation and closing responsibilities
- Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures
- Help deliver an exceptional dining experience for every guest

- Reliability, solid work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to remain organized during busy service




- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable transportation to Tors Cove
- Culinary training and Food Handler Certification are assets
