We are a full-service, modern, family medicine clinic. Our clinic physicians and staff work collaboratively together to ensure strong continuity of care of our patients.

We are seeking a Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced workplace and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This position is responsible for assisting with patient care and ensuring that the office runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:

- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Assisting with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, and assisting with procedures
- Maintaining patient records and updating them as necessary
- Managing faxes, tasks and recalls
- Assisting with specialist and imaging referrals

Requirements:

- Strong customer service skills




- Social and outgoing personality
- Proficiency in English-language, verbal and written communication
- Reliable, flexible and professional
- Excellent time-management skills; able to multi-task
- Some previous MOA experience is a strong asset
- Previous customer service experience is a robust asset
