Warehouse Associate – Feeding, Picking, Packing & Listing (Night Shift)

Zoom Books is hiring Warehouse Associates to help process books for online orders. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding role with daily KPIs—great for people who like to stay busy, hit targets, and earn consistent raises.

This job is physically demanding (please read carefully)

You will be lifting and moving bins/boxes up to 30 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. This is not occasional lifting—this is continuous movement in a warehouse workplace.

You’ll be doing tasks like:

- Filling bins with books (bins can weigh up to 30 lbs when full)
- Lifting and placing full bins onto shelving
- Pulling half-filled bins from shelves, bringing them back to your station, refilling them, and shelving them again
- Picking and packing books for orders
- Working on your feet for most of the day
- Keeping a clean, organized work area
- Scanning & Listing Books – Efficiently scan and list books into our inventory system with accuracy.
- Sorting & Processing – Organize and process books based on condition and category.

If you’re not comfortable with repetitive lifting, fast pace, and standing/moving all shift,



this role won’t be a fit.

Performance expectations (KPIs)

This role includes daily productivity and accuracy KPIs, such as:

- Scan/output targets
- Accuracy and quality standards
- Consistency across the shift

Shift Schedule

- Night Shift: Mon–Fri 4:00pm–12:30am

What we’re looking for

✅ Reliable and punctual
✅ Able to work independently (self-motivated) and as part of a team
✅ Comfortable with basic computer use (laptop/simple apps for listing)
✅ Strong attention to detail and memory
✅ Physically able to lift/move up to 30 lbs repeatedly

Asset: Ability to quickly identify book types (hardcover/paperback, fiction/non-fiction, textbooks, etc.)

Requirements

- Steel-toed shoes required
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment and meet KPIs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Basic warehouse experience is an asset, but not required.
- Able to stand, lift, and move at a steady pace for the entire shift.
