Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Helical Pile Installer and Landscape Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves installing helical piles for various landscape and construction projects, requiring physical endurance, mechanical aptitude, and experience operating heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will contribute to the successful completion of projects by assisting with site preparation, equipment operation, and pile installation, ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the process.

Duties

- Assist with the installation of helical piles using appropriate tools and equipment
- Assist with installation of various landscape construction projects such as fencing, decks, interlocking patios and walls
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, and skid steers
- Conduct basic maintenance and safety checks on equipment before use
- Assist in material handling and transportation using commercial driving or machinery when required




- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work workplace during all phases of construction
- Collaborate with project managers and crew members to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety regulations at all times

Experience

- Prior experience in helical pile installation, construction or landscape installation is preferred
- Hands-on experience operating small equipment such as mini skidsteers, skidsteers, excavators and various small engines
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery and tools is a plus
- Experience with commercial driving or farm machinery operation is beneficial
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites is essential
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
