Sturrock construction is a locally operated business that is currently hiring for an Excavator Operator. This position includes the local operation of 15, 20 & 35 Ton Excavator.

Daily Job duties and responsibilities:

- Perform daily routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the equipment is in proper working condition and report any findings to management if needed
- Daily local operation of 15, 20 & 35 Ton Excavator

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in: Earthworks, Road Building, Fence Row Removal & Foundation Excavation
- Safely operate company equipment




- Must be able to work well in a team workplace and communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate timelines
- Work well under minimal supervision
- Must be reliable and punctual for work
- Must be available full time Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays (will be given notice in advance)
- Must have reliable mode of transportation and valid Ontario Driver's License

Hourly wage will be based on individual and experience.
