Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Platform Design Lead with deep, hands-on expertise in Power Automate and broader Microsoft Power Platform capabilities. This role will focus on leveraging Power Platform as the central orchestration layer across multiple enterprise systems, enabling seamless process automation, intelligent decision-making, and integration-driven workflows.
The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that integrate diverse applications via APIs, connectors, and custom integration patterns. You will play a critical role in driving automation strategy, ensuring governance, and delivering high-impact business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Architecture
Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of complex Power Platform solutions, primarily using Power Automate and Dataverse.
Architect Power Platform as a central orchestration engine, integrating with enterprise systems such as eCIF, AI/decision engines (e.g., DocuMind), and other external services.
Define and implement integration patterns (API-based, event-driven, and hybrid approaches) for scalable automation.
Workflow & Automation Development
Build and manage advanced workflows with energetic routing based on business rules and AI-driven outputs (e.g., confidence scoring).
Implement Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) processes where automated decisions require manual intervention.
Optimize flows for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Integration & Data Management
Design and implement integrations using:
Standard and custom Power Platform connectors
REST APIs and web services
Dataverse as the centralized data layer
Ensure efficient data exchange, transformation, and orchestration across multiple systems.
Governance, Security & Compliance
Establish Power Platform governance models, including environment strategy, DLP policies, and access controls.
Implement best practices in security, data protection, and compliance.
Ensure solution scalability while adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
Error Handling & Monitoring
Design robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and exception management within workflows.
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks to ensure operational stability.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide strategic recommendations and present multiple solution options with trade-offs.
Act as a thought leader in automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with:
Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop)
Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, Power BI – nice to have)
Proven expertise in designing enterprise-scale workflows and orchestration solutions
Experience integrating systems using:
REST APIs, JSON, webhooks
Custom connectors and Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps – preferred)
Solid understanding of:
Integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, event-driven, microservices)
Data modeling in Dataverse
Experience implementing Human-in-the-Loop processes and AI-driven decision flows
Strong knowledge of security, governance, and compliance within Power Platform
Ability to define error handling frameworks and monitoring strategies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI/ML integration, OCR tools, or decision engines (e.g., DocuMind or similar platforms)
Exposure to Azure Integration Services
Certifications:
Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
Power Automate or Power Platform certifications
