Your New RoleIn this role, you will be joining a team of Building Operators and will be reporting to your Property Manager. You will be responsible for two commercial office buildings – 580 Hornby and 885 Dunsmuir which come to a total of ~150,000 sq ft. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining building systems including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing,



and life‑safety equipment with the goal of creating a positive tenant experience.What you’ll need to succeedThe ideal candidate will have experience in commercial building operations and possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems. 2+ years experience in commercial building operations / building maintenance.4th Class Power Engineering Ticket or working towards completion. Solid knowledge and experience with building system maintenance including (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, general carpentry).Experience scheduling & overseeing vendors & contractors. Angus software experience. Emergency on call availability. What you’ll get in return Salary of $70,000 - $75,000 experience dependent. Discretionary Bonus. On-call compensation.3 weeks vacation.
