The Registered Nurse position reports to the Director of Care and leads the team delivering direct care to residents. This role involves assessing resident needs, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring compliance with standards. You will also collaborate closely with LPNs, physicians, and families to optimize holistic patient care in a community-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents’ needs to create tailored care plans
• Support LPNs in clinical decision-making and care updates
• Administer medications and treatments as required
• Coordinate community wound management procedures
• Maintain safe workplace and adherence to protocols
Requirements:
• Current RN license with BCCNM and nursing program graduate
• Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 and CPR certification
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred
• Proficient English communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform various physical tasks
