The Assistant Director of Sales (ADOS) reports to Director of Sales (DOS) and supports the Director of Sales in leading the Sales team to achieve the hotel's revenue and market share objectives.
The role is responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, driving room, banquet and catering revenue, coaching the sales team and ensuring the successful execution of the hotel's commercial strategy. The ADOS acts as the second-in-command of the Sales department and assumes the Director's responsibilities in their absence.
Key Responsibilities
Drive room revenue and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Manage key accounts, develop new business, and strengthen customer relationships.
Lead sales initiatives across Corporate, MICE, Government, Leisure, Airline, and Wholesale segments.
Support and coach the Sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, forecasting, and business mix.
Monitor market trends and identify current business opportunities.




Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of group business and events.
Prepare sales reports, maintain CRM records, and ensure compliance with Marriott standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of hotel room sales experience, including minimum of 2 years in a Senior Manager role.
Strong knowledge of Corporate, MICE, Leisure, Catering Sales (Corporate and Wedding) and Government segments.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
