Lakehouse Kitchens is more than a restaurant—it's one of Canada's most unique culinary experiences. We are a hands-on cooking school, demonstration kitchen, event venue, and culinary destination where guests don't just eat incredible food—they learn how to create it.

We're looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and passionate Cook to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves cooking, enjoys working with people, and wants to grow into teaching and leading cooking classes.

Every day is different. One day you may be preparing for an Italian pasta class, the next assisting with a seafood masterclass, a private corporate event, or a chef's tasting dinner.

What You'll Do

- Prepare ingredients and recipes for hands-on cooking classes and demonstrations
- Set up cooking stations and ensure classes are organized and ready to go
- Assist lead chefs during cooking classes and live demonstrations
- Prepare food for Chef's Theater events and private functions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and skilled kitchen
- Receive and organize deliveries
- Support menu development and recipe testing
- Help create an exceptional guest experience
- As your confidence grows, you'll have the opportunity to lead your own cooking classes and demonstrations

What We're Looking For

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment




- Comfortable interacting with guests
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Qualified kitchen experience preferred
- Culinary education or equivalent experience is an asset
- Food Safe certification is an asset

Schedule

- Day, evening, and weekend availability required
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage based on experience, plus opportunities for advancement as you take on additional responsibilities and instructional roles.
